So V, should we keep the trailers hidden and risk travelling Sorna on night to maintain our stealth advantage on Biosyn or should we move it closer to access supplies easier and risk blowing our cover?

Let's inject some action movie stupidity and move the trailers!

And then there is the risk of traveling on foot in night... Let's see what Dive has to think?

Really? Tarb's adding that element from the novel? Can you confirm this, Tarb?

He'll probably do so once he comes back from studying for herpetology

Alright, so we wait for Tarb's confirmation and Dive's input. If we decide to move it closer then someone should stay and hold the fort, I'm thinking you considering that you have a RU and more tech savvy, could use it to eavesdrop on communications though I suggest replacing your field guide with an AR.

Hmm... That does sound like a good idea.
Though, how do I do that?

I remember Tarb saying you could replace an item(not all three though) in the equipment thread on your first turn.

Alright, I'll do that while the Lord of this RPG AKA Tarbtano the Shadowy Sarcosuchus' Avatar slumbers AKA his account is offline.

Good catch there Vman, but none to worry. I will confirm that while DX might be a plot point, it's not plague levels like the novel and most dinosaurs aren't infected, nor run the risk of infection. This Isla Sorna is like what happens if you mashed the novel, film, and videogames into a big blender.
So good news? You won't get super mad cow disease if you get bit because the dinosaurs aren't insane. Bad news is the dinosaurs aren't insane and thus are more wily.

Well we got our answer from Tarb. It's all up to Dive on whether he wants us closer or to remain hidden. Though Dive if you're reading this then i suggest switching your Radio with a Ghillie Suit because your character's Stealth is crap and that's apt to be a liability in this venture.

I agree we should move the trailers. If we go on foot, we risk having a much longer trek back in the dark, and I don't want to imagine what's out there at night.

Okay, switching radio for a Ghillie Suit. As bad as my stealth is, it's worse without it. Also, I choose option A. I have a feeling I know what it is, and that's not a good thing. Depends on what you think it is?

I had feared the possibility of traveling through Rex territory ever since looking at the map. Should i switch the knife for a Ghillie as well? Edit Note: I think i spotted a Troodon along the drive, and that worries me.

To offer some GM advice, I'd say you got a high enough stealth stat to be fine as is and a knife might prove a valuable tool even if it's not the best weapon. Up to you, it's a question of safety vs. versatility. and the field guide has some "UNKNOWN"s after all. Maybe so maybe not.

I'll admit, I was expecting us to be rex chow. Thankfully Suchos aren't as aggressive as the rex.
