Fair enough. I've got plenty of flares left. I just don't want them to be our get out of jail free card.

Again, just to recap.
We(mainly you) free Levine, free the Stego, free the mystery captive, and get out?
V will hand you over the boltcutters to cut Levine's cuffs while me and him will check up on Dodgson, then we climb up to the top of the Stegos' cage and drop a flare behind them while we also break the lock. Afterwards, I fetch the trailers while you two will get that mystery dino then we leave.
Everybody got that?

"So there's the plan, get Levine, get the cages open,-"
Gary interjected as he held his finger up just as the rampaging Sauropod punted a flaming ATV into a tent behind him, "-and not die."
"Right, first let's get the idiot free," Bill muttered as he tapped his boltcutters to his palm before tossing them to Randy.
"Sharp end goes on the metal, I'm going to check for the keys Randy says Dog Dude had."
Randy eyed the distant hill where the trailer's were hidden, "And I'll get out get-away."
Bill paced over to where Dodgson was thrown, a blown down tent that was partially on fire. He surveyed about to try and find the key. Stealth roll! TKT5Uizip_ 3 + roll 1 + bonus from smoke 2 = 6!... Success!
Managing to get to the tent unspotted, Bill rummaged about. But he found nothing other than the broken contents of what had been inside the tent. No keys, and no Dodgson. He did manage to find something else though. Dodgson's lost hat! Unable to resist putting it on, the disguise, like some secret agent, would make any passing poachers think he was Dodgson and not harass him.
Randy meanwhile ran over to Levine's post and ignored the paleontologist's ramblings and complaints as he affixed the jaws of the boltcutters to the chain. Skill roll! p_ 4 + roll 3 = 7!... Partial success!
While he couldn't get a firm hold on the handcuffs themselves, he was able to bite into the chain connecting them and sheer them off.
"Confounded clod, get these blasted things off my wrists they've giving me the rings!" Levine snarled only for a pretty fed up Randy to point the boltcutters to his nose.
"Escape first, comfort second. You were saying something about the last cage being important?"
Dr. Levine rolled his eyes and pointed to it, "See for yourself. Have you any know-how worth the salt you'd see for yourself!"
Randy went over to the cage, the sounds of the crying animal inside all too obvious. When he took the tarp off it however, he barely needed a degree to recognize what it was. The two fingered hands and boxy head were proof enough even if it did have a short coat of downy fluff like a baby bird.
"A Tyrannosaurus rex... They actually got one," Randy whispered breathlessly.
Dr. Levine dusted himself off, "I was studying the family and nest when that bastard Dodgson got to me. It's the only one that was caught live in their capture attempt when the parents were away. Other ones hadn't hatched yet."
The terrier sized animal squeaked frightfully and cowered in its cage, sporting an obvious broken leg that was bleeding still. This creature, it would make InGen or BioSyn's operations a sure-win, but only one of them. If Hammond could get a record of a Tyrannosaurus rex to the public, it would win them over instantly. If BioSyn got one of the last Tyrannosaurus rex left in the world, it would guarantee their ends.
Gary rushed towards the exit of the camp, managing to get out the now busted front gate as the Parasaurolophus smashed through it. But as he did, he heard a hissing and froze. There was something moving about in the brush near the camp, something unseen but clearly not human. He was being watched. The Parasaurolophus paused and seemed to notice it too, looking off to the left and right warily.
Bill, do you A. Try to follow the tracks and see where Dodgson went with gun in hand? (action roll) B. Go back to the cages and help Randy? (+2 to his rolls) C. Go to the communications tent nearby and see if there is anything useful? (stealth roll)
Randy, do you A. Free and take the baby Tyrannosaurus rex in your backpack? (action roll) B. Free and get the baby into the wilds? (action roll) C. Wait for the trailers to come and take the whole cage? (action roll)
Gary, do you A. Go back to the camp and try to find a vehicle not-blown up to use? (stealth roll) B. Go it on foot with the Parasaurolophus to your right for cover in that direction? (stealth roll) C. Pick up a piece of flaming tent and pole to use as a torch on risk of being seen? (action roll) ·

(Seem to have trouble making up my mind, eh?) That Baby Rex is injured and scared so if you try to pick it up, it will fight you, I recommend waiting for the trailers.
I'm gonna choose B.
V, again. Dive's really gonna need your help here.

"Where did you scamper off to jackass?", Bill growled before turning back to the cages to help Randy, hoping Dodgson got stepped on by the Mamenchisaurus.
Randy shrugged, feeling a horrid dread go over him as he started to cut the at the bars of the cage.
"W-What are you doing?!", Levine squawked.
"Said this thing could make or break this operation? Well if we're bailing outta here we can't carry the cage."
"Back, couldn't find the-", Bill paused as he looked at the scene of his colleague trying to free a squawking dinosaur.
"Okay what the hell?"
Randy groaned, "Long story. We need to take it with us."
Bill paused before shrugging, "Well we already got the Compy in the trailer, might as well."
Action roll! 9vAJOAbHp_
3 + roll 5 + assist bonus 2 = 10!... Bonus success!
Managing to bite through the bars, a feat only possible with Bill helping to manhandle the boltcutters; the duo managed to cut the bars open without getting bitten. Little guy or gal had teeth possibly at the ready even if they were terrified.
"This is either the best idea ever or the worst idea in a long sad history of bad ideas," Randy muttered as he closed up the bag.
"No inbetween?"
Randy quietly looked at the hissing, extremely vocal young Tyrannosaurus rex as he drew up his bag to put it in, "Nope."
Now they just had to shut the infant up and get it to them without making the whole camp aware or worse, alert whatever was on this island to a free and easy meal.
Pacing his steps, Gary tried to keep pace behind the Parasaurolophus until he heard a tell tale sound. A human screaming. In the distance he could hear someone, probably one of the poachers, call out before being silenced by a hissing cackle. Stealth roll! p_ 3 + roll 3 + bonus 3 = 9!... Success!
The Parasaurolophus snorted and stomped the ground with its forelimbs, looking at a spot of darkness Gary couldn't see clearly. If there was an initial attack however, he avoided it. It was a possible follow up he need worry with though. A pair of bright eyeshine glinting to the side was the only indicator of what was there. It cackled and kept the Parasaurolophus' attention, but the hadrosaur didn't hear the hissing Randy did. Nor the rapid scampering of feet to their right.
Randy, do you A. Try to fit your belt around the Tyrannosaurus' jaws to shut it up? (action roll) B. Use some cloth to try and steam its bleeding leg? (skill roll)
Bill, do you A. Dig through the tool chest to see if there is anything that could help restrain the infant? (skill roll) B. Pull our your gun to keep it at the ready in case it's needed for anything? (action roll)
Gary, do you A. Try to dodge out of the way from whatever is charging you? (action roll) B. Pull out your tranquilizer rifle and try to club whatever it is and/or shoot it? (action roll) ·

Ahh shit, it's worse than I thought. I choose B to club.
Dive, restrain it. Though it does have a bleeding leg, and it would need medical attention.
V, it's up to you this time. Dive might need your help again, but our situation just went from bad to worse so you might also need that gun...

Bill kept a lookout with his rifle at the ready. Thankfully with the dinosaurs running loose and half the camp on fire, none of the BioSyn crew that was still alive paid him any attention. Unfortunately as several of them ran past him, the ground began to thunder. The Mamenchisaurus bellowed as she chased after several poachers, unknowingly stampeding directly toward the dinosaur cages. Knowing it's what aggravated in the first place and that he had to change its path, Bill swore him took aim.
Action roll! 5975uQgxp_
3 + roll 5 -1 for poorer vision from smoke = 7!... Success!
Managing to graze the Mamenchisaurus on the shoulder, Bill call out to it.
"Hey! Ripoffzilla!", he yelped wall waiting at it flag it down. He cracked a distinctly human gesture before running into a larger smoke cloud with the sound of walking thunder behind them, drawing it away from the cages. As he did however, his radio unit started going off. Someone was calling them.
Randy called out futilely as his colleague reenacted a Godzilla movie, swearing and focusing on the infant. Noticing Levine's person, he drew up an idea that would both be effective and also slight a d***headed paleontologist.
"Give me your belt!", Randy snapped.
"I SAY!?", Levine roared with a berserk red face, "Are you acting the part of a moron or does it just come naturally at a time like this?!"
Randy just helpful boltcutters up to his face will narrowing his eyes, "Give.It."
Levine was not keen on being lectured like a school child, but he decided against arguing and handed it over. Looking back to the infant, Randy calmed his town and approached cautiously as the poor creature curled up in the back of its cage.
"It's okay.. Oookay, don't take my fingers off please. Juuust need you to stop-"
The infant Tyrannosaurus belted out another alarm call just as he lunged for it. Action roll! p_ 3 + 2 = 5!.. Partial success!
Randy managed to get the belt around its muzzle and silence it. Feeling pity on the poor creature, gently stroked over its head and unmessied some of its feathery down to try and calm it like one would a scared dog. He managed to gently ease it into his backpack. Unfortunately something had heard that last long call. A deep, echoing roar called out from the distant jungles.
Gary spun on his heel and swung his tranquilizer gun around like a bludgeon at whatever it was charging him. Action roll! p_ 3 + roll 2 = 5!... Partial success!
Gary swung hard and fortunately circumstance gave him some favor. The creature, obviously a bipedal dinosaur of some sort, was only about the size of the large coyote or small wolf. Likely no more than 30 or 40 kilograms, the impact from Gary's swing was more than enough to club it away. Unfortunately however, his timing was off by just a fraction as it had already opened its mouth to bite down on his leg when he hit it. Because it it amount to be jerked away, making its teeth graze and deep into his calf. It wasn't severe, only a flesh wound, but almost instantly he felt a tingling sensation was starting to make part of his leg with numb. The creature was largely unseen, only briefly glimpsed the reflected firelight to show it was an ashy color across most the body within bright red belly and very reflective eyes. Fortunately his actions roused the Parasaurolophus. The massive hadrosaur trumpeted and stomped upon the ground all swinging it had about the club something. Its actions scared off the rest of the pack of attackers and Gary was able to limp back to the trailer even has his vision started to get a bit dizzy.
Gary has been infected by a venom. While not life-threatening, as he only got a small dose, it will dizzy him for the next two chapters unless cured. -1 for all vision rolls, -1 for all action roles that require movement.
Bill, do you A. Try to hide inside the smoke Mamenchisaurus loses interest? (stealth roll + smoke bonus) B. Try to answer the call and speak extremely quietly? (skill roll + smoke bonus + role bonus)
Gary, do you A. Immediately try to drive to the camp? (action roll) B. Patch your leg up with the medical kit to at least stop the bleeding? (skill roll)
Randy, do you A. Climb up on the Stegosaurus cage and free it by cutting the bars? (action roll + skill roll) B. Stop trying to free the dinosaurs and try to help Bill? (+2 to their rolls) ··

(A cure might be found Tem~) Bill dug out the radio just as the Mamenchisaurus seemed to loom closer. He flicked it on and tried to remain quiet. Skill roll! 5ZDtNjqvp_3 + roll 5 + class bonus 1 + smokescreen 2 = 11!... Bonus success! (Threat identification)He flicked it on, "Really bad time for this folks." "Bill?! Bill can you-", Bill tapped the microphone twice to answer without yelling. Sarah Harding quieted. "Been trying to reach you for hours but something interfered." "BioSyn camp probably, they're fencing caused a lot of interferance. Now I'm hiding from a pissed off kaiju so kindly tell me what is so important?!" he spat. " Troodon formosus."
Bill raised an eyebrow, "Wasn't on the species list." "It wasn't. Hammond ordered them destroyed but some loony biologist kept some alive and we have reason to think she shipped some back to Sorna from Nublar." Bill grumbled, "I'm hiding from a pissed off Sauropod and you're giving us another dinosaur to chase?!" "No! Hell no! Not with what my father reported-" "Your what-?!" "Long story, park veterinarian. Was there with my little sister during '93. Listen, Troodon is probably one of the most dangerous things InGen cooked up. Highly venomous with paralytic toxins in the bite." "So what do we do if someone gets nipped? No antivenom in the kits." "The agents in tranquilizer will counteract it" "You want us to shoot someone after getting bitten by a dinosaur?" Sarah just muttered as she finished, "-Only if given a small enough dose." "Aaand if someone doesn't feel like taking a shot?" "You'll go comatose and it'll lay eggs in you," Harding deadpanned. A silence passed through the microphone back to Dr. Harding, sounds of a distant dinosaur, occasional gunfire, and fire flickers before Bill chimed in. "... Oh." Sarah Harding shrugged, "Record says they come out at night and bright lights hurt their eyes. So spread word fast as you can, warm soft bodies mean they see humans as ideal material." "Aaaand we got the highest concentration of humans on the island right here... great... Thanks Sarah, now to go back to running for my life, fill you in later. Over-" Digging into the back trailer, Gary dredged out the medical equipment. Skill roll! p_3 + roll 3 = 6!... Success! "Oh thank god," he whispered while hastily drawing out the bandaging, antiseptic, and adrenaline shot. The bite looks nasty, flesh puffed up and darkening tracing his veins. Biting down the stings, he managed to flush it clean, thankfully finding it wasn't too deep and didn't hit an artery, got the antiseptic coating it, and bound the wound. An adrenaline shot made him feel much better and more focused, even if it was just temporary. Grunting as he got back up to the doorway to the hitch so he could step up to the first trailer, he heard something familiar. The same hiss as before. He'd left a trail of blood to the trailers and something had followed it. Blinking eyeshine lit up all around him, at least a dozen in number low to the ground or in the trees. Gary managed to scramble into the first trailer and kick the door shut just as one Troodon rammed into it in a lunge. Others followed suit, clawing up the trailer and scampering across the roof of the unfamiliar object as they tried to find a way in. One hopped up on the front window in front of the headlights and snarled at the nest-in-progress behind the glass. Randy meanwhile had managed to talk Dr. Levine into climbing up the cage to safety, even if he hadn't managed to talk him into holding the bag containing the baby Tyrannosaurus. He could guess the roar had something to do with it as Levine was still transfixed in it's direction. "Recognize it?", Randy noted as he got out the boltcutters. Levine didn't take his eyes off the bag, "Papa and Mama are very angry." "And the camp has Junior's scent all over it, time to get this show on the road then!", Randy put the cutters to the lock and squeezed hard as he could from the bad angle. Action and Skill roll! p_p_3 + 4 + roll 6 + roll 1 = 14!... Success! Managing to bite through the rebar metal, the lock swung open and the Stegosaurus wasted little time along with its young making their exit. While they didn't fight, the sudden rush of the other big herbivore drew the Mamenchisaurus' attention away and got it to leave where Bill was hiding. Randy couldn't resist hoisting the cutters up victoriously and whooping. Last one and they had this in the bag! Now all that lay before them was escape! Bill, do you A. Try to radio Gary to spread the news? (skill roll) B. Group with Randy and try to make your way to the exit of the camp? (stealth roll) Randy, do you A. Scout the camp in case you missed anything else important? (stealth roll) B. Group up with Bill and try to make your way to the exit of the camp? (stealth roll) Gary, do you A. Try to blare the horn in the darkness to try and startle the Troodon away at risk of being heard? (action roll) B. Try to flash on and off the cab and high beam lights to blind the Troodon at risk of being seen? (action roll) You have 4 turns to get out of the campsite before the Tyrannosaurus pair show up ···

Option B.
Bill: Well, this is good news... We've got bloody Xenomorph ripoffs running around, a pissed off clone of that stop-motion brontosaurus from The Lost World and a rabble of drunk poachers who couldn't chop off a Rhino's horn without getting themselves stabbed in their jewels. "Well, this is good news... We've got bloody Xenomorph ripoffs running around, a pissed off clone of that stop-motion brontosaurus from The Lost World and a rabble of drunk poachers who couldn't chop off a Rhino's horn without getting themselves stabbed in their jewels. Now, where did Randy go?", Bill muttered as he got up and out of his hiding place as the Mamenchisaurus further moved off. Will invigorated by his witty dialogue to keep up morale, Bill felt a boost when he stealthfully made his way back to the cages. Stealth roll! JqRvEotCp_3 + roll 5 + smokescreen 2 = 10!... Success! Randy breathed a big sigh of relief, both on account of the Stegosaurus choosing to peacefully leave infant rather than go on the attack, and because the sudden release of large dinosaur near him shut Levine up. He'd take any calmness he could get after hearing that roar. Witnessing the exact species or not, he knew the bellow of an apex predator when he heard one. Managing to flag down Bill, the trio started making their way out of the camp. Stealth roll! p_1 + ghille suit bonus 2 + smokescreen 2 + roll 6 = 11!... Success! Successfully managing to navigate their way out through the direction the Mamenchisaurus first smashed through, they'd completely escaped the notice of any poachers or the released dinosaurs. That doesn't mean they didn't escape full lotus however... Deciding that stealth was just not an option between the camp being on fire and the rampaging dinosaurs, Gary threw caution into the wind and acted. He could see these creatures had extremely reflective, large eyes; new doubt highly sensitive to be perfectly attuned to hunting at night. A trait for an advantage he sought to make a weakness as he tried to flick on every light he could. Action roll! p_3 + roll 6 = 9!... Success! Flooding the hillside with light, Gary effectively blinded the initial horde of Troodon. Many of them screamed and squawked as they lurched back. They scampered off the hill and away from the metal beast they could see without pain. Right towards the beasts they could see. Eyeshine, mostly from the initial Troodon whom didn't chase after Gary, lit up around Randy, Bill, and Dr. Levine. They could smell the humans and the warm blood of the infant. Flashes of eye shine started to circle them just as the war of the greatest predator known to the island called out again, closer than before. Bill, do you A. Open fire on the circling eyeshine in the brush to try and hit any of the Troodon? (action roll) B. Activate and throw your radio unit while making lots of noise with it to try and confuse the Troodon? (skill roll) C. Fall back to the camp? (stealth roll) Randy, do you A. Light up a road flare (6 left) to try and blind or burn any approaching Troodon at risk of being visible to the other dinosaurs? (action roll) B. Pick up and throw rocks at the Troodon to ward them off at range? (action roll) C. Fall back to the camp? (stealth roll) Gary, do you A. Use your tranquilizer rifle and try to snipe the Troodon at range? (action roll + 2 with scope) B. Turn on the high beams and stay on the hillside for stability? (skill roll) C. Turn on the high beams and try to drive down to the Game Trail to pick the team up? (action roll) You have 3 turns to get out of the Game Trail before the Tyrannosaurus pair show up ··
