Information: It's four years since the incident on Isla Nublar and fall of InGen and John Hammond's Jurassic Park. While containment of Isla Nublar has been successful, the land of Isla Sorna is a whole different problem. Isla Nublar was Site A, the theme park for the tourists. Isla Sorna was Site B, meant to be known only by InGen personnel. Much larger in size and secrecy, Isla Sorna was where almost all the dinosaurs for Jurassic Park were bred before they were old enough to transfer to Isla Nublar. Additionally it housed numerous research facilities used to study the creatures for better captivity and experimentation. But in 1995, a massive hurricane tore across the island. Already in financial strain from the incident in 1993 on Isla Nublar, InGen abandoned Site B and turned the dinosaurs free. Now the island is crawling with them. John Hammond, the CEO and founder of InGen, was haunted by the incident at Isla Nublar and had a change of heart. Set on keeping the animals at peace and safe out of responsibility for creating them, he's been fighting a losing battle with the board of directors to keep Isla Sorna isolated and untouched, even with help from mega-corp owner Simon Masrani. He wishes for Isla Sorna to be left alone, a lost world. However as he struggles with his own company, he suspects the same rival group that sabotaged the park might strike again while they're weak and Isla Sorna is unguarded due to lack of funds.
Public opinion and international support is the only way he can both guard the island keep anyone from taking the research or animals off of it for who knows what means. For that he needs a documented record of those animals alive and in their natural habitats. While looking for a team, one of those he contacted and revealed the secrets of Sorna to was an American Paleontologist, Dr. Richard Levine. Dr. Levine, whom according to Dr. Sarah Harding has "a world-wide reputation of being a pain in the ass", didn't wait for the rest of the team and rushed to Isla Sorna alone. Hammond, trying to coax him back, lost contact with him a day ago.
That is where you come in. Hammond has picked you as an expedition to both document the species to the best of your ability and rescue Dr. Levine. You arrive on Isla Sorna within the hour, good luck. They don't call this island chain, The Five Deaths, for nothing.
Location: Start on the Isla Sorna river delta's shores. The terrain is covered in forested hills and creeks with openings caused by seasonal river beds that are often dry.
Objective: Dr. Levine's satellite phone's last ping was in that region. Search for clues to his whereabouts, if he is still alive. Along the way, try to document the behaviors of a large species of dinosaur for Hammond's project.
