Name: Bill Stewarts
RP'd by: Vman0
Role: Engineer
Stats:
Action:3
Stealth:2
Skill:3
Equipment: Boltcutters, Assault Rifle (16 rounds left), and Radio unit
Expedition Group: Team Mauve Shirts
Bio: A private eye from the EPA, he was sent to Isla Sorna to investigate the rampant invasive dinosaurs on the island, as well as the litter and junk left behind after it's abandonment by InGen. This assignment wasn't voluntary, as the higher ups didn't like his abrasive personality and guile, which led to his 'reassignment to Antarctica'. He also made a blood oath during his high school years, but who he made that oath with is a mystery.
Name: Randy Archer
RP'd by: DiverseInterests47
Role: Paleontologist
Stats:
Action:3
Stealth:1
Skill:4
Equipment: Medical kit, Road flare (4 left), Ghillie suit
Expedition Group: Team Mauve Shirts
Bio: Randy Archer loved dinosaurs ever since he was a kid. He studied them all throughout collage and helped on some digs as well, even meeting the later famous Dr. Alan Grant. However, upon hearing of the incident on Isla Nubar, his love for the once great creatures tempered off somewhat. Until one day when he was asked along as a consultant for the Isla Sorna expedition. It is up to him to act as a guide for the others and ensure their survival against creatures perfected by 65 million years of evolution.
*Mild Venom poisoning: -1 to action rolls and -2 to vision rolls until cured
Name: Gary Paladecki
RP'd by: Temnizziv
Role:Tracker
Action:3
Stealth:3
Skill:2
Equipment: Tranquilizer (9 shots left), Binoculars, and Ka-Bar Knife
Expedition Group: Team Mauve Shirts
Bio:A sensitive nature lover at heart, he always preferred to deal with animals rather than the academic subjects of highschool. He lost his father on an automobile accident, and suffering from the resulting grief, had a falling out with a close friend. He eventually went to work for an environmental NGO before being hired by Hammond as a field scout for the expedition to Isla Sorna. He has an antagonistic relationship with Nick Van Owen due to ideological
differences and Bill Stewarts for unspecified reasons.
*Mild Venom poisoning: -1 to action rolls and -2 to vision rolls until cured
*Currently in the trailers, free access to a more powerful Radio unit (+2 chance on rolls), infinite medical kits; and the opportunity to swap out equipment. You also have a night vision scope you can attach to one of the rifles or keep separate for boosted vision.
Objectives: Catalog the most famous species on the island, decide where to go next if you should catalog more species (more chances for saurian allies... or enemies), or try to pull out and evacuate the island, and prepare for quite possibly the worst.
*Hidden Objective and bonus present
The trailers rolled to a stop miles away from the game trail, in the heart of the dense red wood jungles in the northern part of the island. The night air is cool and there is a low handing fog that diminished visibility and scent (+1 for stealth) at the cost of lowered fields of view (-1 to vision based rolls). Content they're safe with the lack of roaring, Gary pulls the trailers to a stop and stumbles out of the driver's seat. His will power kept him driving despite the venom taking its effect.
Sweating all over, he walked back to the main trailer to the others and collapsed on a chair. Randy wasn't doing much better, being similarly forced into the numbness and sweats by the venom. Dr. Levine was similarly tired out from his nonstop ordeal with the BioSyn team. Bill was just about the only member relatively right as rain, even if he was still pretty sore and in stitches from the Stegosaurus brand acupuncture. Even the baby Tyrannosaurus was unwell, having stopped squirming and whimpering as it lay strapped to one of the medical tables.
Sick, tired, hungry, and wounded on the most dangerous place on earth with probably more than just dinosaurs hunting you. Some of BioSyn had to have survived after all and Dodgson is MIA. What to do...
Team, as a group decide amongst your options.
You can, in some attempted combination
- Press on with the expedition and try to get more cataloging done (bonuses present)
- Tend to Randy and Gary's poisoning with the tranquilizers at cost of stalling you several more hours
- Tend to the baby Tyrannosaurus and see why it's gone so quiet and catalog it
- Continue driving towards either the Embryonic Compound in the deep jungle or the Worker Village in the tall grasses to call for evacuation
